Dear Fieldstone Community,
Our Model United Nations (MUN) team participated in the Canada MUN last weekend. Our four-person team spoke about some very interesting topics and had a great time interacting and collaborating with students from other schools. Fieldstone students always stand out in a crowd, and our MUN team was no different! Bravo, Fieldstone!
Two of our students will be participating in the SSAF Badminton Championship on the 23rd! We are so proud of all our students for participating in the tournament and wish our players who are going forward the best of luck! Also coming up: SSAF Bowling Championship! Permission forms were sent home with students. We are looking forward to a strong FKCS turnout on the day!
A friendly reminder that our second Parent Teacher Interviews will be at the end of April. If you wish to meet with your child’s teacher (online or in person), please contact [email protected]. Please remember to indicate which teachers you would like to meet. We have kept the meetings on two days: for the convenience of parents who live out of the country and may wish to join online interviews, as well as for those who are able to visit us in person.
Friendly reminder that there are no classes on Monday, April 21st, on account of Easter Monday.

Fieldstone Uniform: Updates

The official dress code for assemblies is Number One Dress. Please make sure students follow uniform regulations.
Smart-Casual Guidelines
The following items are part of our “smart casual” expectation:
- Polo shirt/shirt/blouse for everyone; these can be long or short-sleeved.
- Sweaters or cardigans can be worn on casual days – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Trousers, ¾ length trousers, skirts or dresses
- Dress shoes (black polishable)
The following items are not permitted and will constitute a uniform offence:
- Crop tops
- Short skirts
- Hats
- Ripped pants
- Leggings
- “Hoodies”
Star Performer Programme
The criteria for a student to be a Star Performer are:
- The chosen student practises the Fieldstone Values (Caring, Fairness, Trustworthiness, Citizenship, Responsibility and Respect). The student must have shown at least three values. Teachers will be asked to provide an example of how these values were demonstrated per student.
- Academic Performance and Motivation (this will be reviewed monthly by the teachers and whichever student has the best performance and motivation during the 30-day period)
- Uniform is to be perfect for the entire month. Number One Dress on Mondays. Regular Uniform on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This includes shoes, dress pants, kilts, blazers, sweaters – No non-Fieldstone jackets in class.
- The Star Student will receive a framed certificate from Fieldstone Kings College School.
Edsembli Connect for Parents: All our parents should be able to access their accounts on Edsembli Parents Portal HERE. The portal is where parents can check their child/ren’s reports.
If you are a first-time user, you will have received an email from Edsembli Connect at the email address we have on record for you. Please follow the steps to create a new password by clicking on ‘request a password change.’ Once you have a new password, you can access the account and check reports. If you have previously been able to log into the Parents portal and have been unable to do so now, please let us know, and we’ll fix the problem.
VOLUNTEER HOURS
All FKCS students are reminded that they will need to complete their “Volunteer Hours” before they graduate high school. Volunteer Hours can be completed inside or outside Fieldstone, but they must make sure they check the list of eligible and non-eligible activities before signing up. If students are looking for in-school volunteer opportunities, they should check their ‘Student Life’ Moodle regularly for updates and information.

No Smoking or Vaping Policy
A reminder to everyone that smoking/vaping is not allowed within 20 meters of the school perimeter and is strictly prohibited on school property. This is both a school policy and provincial law.
