Our Visual Arts programme continues to thrive at FKCS. Students are increasingly interested in building their creative design skills and our expert teachers help them to develop impressive portfolios. Whether experimenting in Photography, creating graphic design projects in Communications Technology, or working on painting or pottery in Visual Arts or Illustration classes, our students enjoy numerous opportunities to hone their talents.

Our campus closure has prompted our Arts courses to explore an even greater variety of digital platforms. Our Visual Arts students have discovered how to create impressive and innovative “paintings” using their phones. Their recent collection of Tuscan landscapes (one of these paintings is pictured above) showcased the possibilities for using digital technology to practise painting skills.

We are continually impressed by the way in which our students and teachers are embracing our campus closure as an opportunity to try new ways of teaching and learning. Until it is safe to once again unite at our beloved school, we look forward to continuing to help our students to stay connected, inspired, and supported remotely.
